Modeling Workshops
If you or someone you know is interested in modeling or acting in the Bellingham area, but doesn't know where to start, we can help! No need for expensive schooling when a few small workshops are all you need to get started. Our industry workshops range from beginner to advanced. These workshops include a wide variety of topics and include many professional guest speakers who specialize within their field. To work in this field, you need to know the differences between modeling and acting, the types of photos that each industry uses, and the various requirements and etiquette expected. We recommend you start by signing up for a basic industry class where these topics are defined, examples are given, and first-hand experiences by guest speakers are used. All participants under the age of 18 are encouraged to bring a parent or adult with them.
Basics 101: This workshop teaches you what you need to know to start modeling. Learn which photos will increase your odds of getting an interview, how to act during an open call, castings, what management companies expect from hired talent, and information on how to initiate your first photoshoot for your portfolio. 2 Hours $200.00

Runway I: This workshop is fast paced and offers in-depth instructions on how to walk and pose on a runway. Get ready to work! Each participant must bring 3 pairs of shoes of varying heights. 2 Hours $200.00

Runway II: This workshop is a continuation of Runway I. Learn dressing room etiquette, expectations on clothing treatment, and advanced runway techniques. Show off your new skills in a mock fashion show for friends and family. Each participant must bring 3 pairs of shoes of varying heights and 3 outfit changes. 4 Hours (2 hour workshop & separate day mock fashion show) $300.00

Test Shoot: An affordable way to begin your portfolio and get photos into the hands of agencies, managers, and casting directors. This involves a basic photoshoot with 1 look and includes posing instruction.

Photo Shoot I: This workshop is an actual photoshoot. Let's see what you can bring to the table. Get real experience relating to the camera, using a variety of poses and attitudes. Makeup and hair arts on hand, stylists and posing assistance are included.
1-4 Hours $250.00 - 500.00

Photo Shoot II: This workshop will add photos to your portfolio and start building your composite cards. This shoot is more advanced and expects that participants use the skills of styling and posing learned from the previous workshops and shoots. 2-3 looks. 2-4 Hours $300.00 - 600.00

5 Week Comprehensive Modeling Workshop:
Learn all of the topics listed above. How to start modeling and acting, understanding your individual image and bringing confidence to your castings, open calls, and photos. How to build your portfolio, resume, headshots, and comp cards. Learn runway skills, how to interview, hair & makeup skills. This workshop also includes a guided photoshoot to learn and understand what is expected during a shoot. 5 weeks, 1.5 hours a week plus photoshoot. $400.00 -600.00
